Hi /christian/

Would it be a sin to marry a random thot (that is a girl that you don't love or care about her) so you could have kids and keep your family alive?

I've been thinking about priesthood but I don't think I have the vocation for it so I need to get something done in life and marriage and kids are the only remaining option.

Is it a sin? Catholic answers are preferred but prots and orthobros are welcome to share their thoughts.

Well I by thot I mean any girl (obviously I would pick a Catholic one because I don't want my children to be heretics or worse). That question here is that if its lawful to marry someone even if you're giving a shit about that girl and just picked her up just to make kids and continue my heritage (more a less like Kings used to do)

It is not a sin yo marry without love.

It is a sin however to marry if you are not commited to the promises you will make. If you don't care about her it will be difficult to endure those promises in times of suffering, out of discipline alone since you don't feel anything for her.

It may also create a disfunctional family, not good to raise children in.
