If one experiences the movement of the Holy Spirit, and feels like God is calling them to a life of preaching, how much money could one make by becoming a full or part time pastor? I am wondering because I need to know if I could support a family by leading a carrier towards God.

I know what it sounds like. I understand the greed of money, and I fully know the teachings that Jesus says God will provide. However, I need to get an idea if this is right for me. I seek advice.

If you feel like you are designed to be a pastor, but money is a factor in deciding, you will not be a good Pastor. Do missionary work instead

Depends on how your particular denomination outlines clergy pay. Many have set benefit packages.

As for family lots of men in ministry support their families.

I understand that you want to take care of your family, and that is a good impulse.

Ministry can be hard on your financial situation depending on where you are called to. If this is truly the vocation you are called to pursue then you should know that God will provide for your needs, even if He does so by way of a normal job.
