Without Paul the transformation of the Gospel into something different would have been possible. Thanks to many conspiracy theories. With him you can vertebrate the OT and the NT. God bless him. Because Paul hurt their feefees when he told wrote that homos and adulterers are bad and will not go to heaven and they always say some variant of "Paul is not Jesus so its not authoritative". Without even understanding the concept of Tradition and the Early Church and how it worked.

Also I like St. Paul a lot, it might not be an original choice, especially for an Anglican, but his letters are uncontested as having come from his own hand. He's a portal back into the early Church, and I look up to his writings as encompassing what it is to be a Christian in practice.
