Tbh it's blatantly obvious thry are basing themselves on that, very famous, painting and expect the viewer to recognise it. I wouldn't see any conspiracy or hidden secrets here, Babel is, whether it's appropriate or not, a very popular symbol people use whenever languages are concerned.
