The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

For anyone interested, A Christian Church prayer:

"Dear God, Our Father in Heaven,

First and foremost, we lift up to You the Body of Christ worldwide of every denomination. We pray that You always uphold her in Your favor- Your grace. Be very near to those who are hunted down for no other reason than that they believe upon Jesus and therefore are not of any of this world's religions. These brothers and sisters of ours need You.

Be also very near to those who seem to 'have it all together' and think that they do not need You. Please remind them of their True Source of Life in Christ.

We lift up to You the world. Please make the truth of Jesus Christ- Your Son and Your Way- and the truth of Your Gospel of Him to be spread everywhere unhindered for everyone- from the so-called 'least of all' to the so-called 'greatest of all'. Let it be spread by every means.

We lift up to You and give thanks for the leaders appointed by You throughout the entire world. Please give them the necessary wisdom and understanding to govern the citizens of their countries and territories.

We lift up to You our nation and its leaders. We ask for wisdom, understanding, and Your protection upon them– from the local, to the county, to the state, and to the federal levels of the three branches of our Republic.

Please uphold those who serve in sincerity of heart, who keep in mind our freedoms as reaffirmed in our Constitution. Please remove those who serve only themselves or who are even actively working against our nation and its citizens.

We lift up to You those who serve in our military- and among them those who put their own lives at risk for the good of our nation and people. Please set Your guard over them and give them good success.

We lift up to You those patriots of our nation who give of themselves selflessly– whose names and deeds we will never know in this life.

We lift up to You those who serve to secure and protect our borders. Please give them good insight and discernment to manage those who cross our borders, to distinguish between those who genuinely look for help and refuge from those who seek to invade our nation by stealth and enslave us to a foreign or 'deep state' entity; to distinguish between real parents with children from those who pretend to be so but in truth are traffickers of children, adults, drugs, and weapons.

We lift up to You all of these things and more- the wishes of our hearts, our prayers. They are far too much for any single one of us or even all of us together; therefore, we appeal to You for them all.

Through Christ our Lord, Whom You have given authority over everything in Heaven and on earth,

Amen."

Thank you for sharing OP. We could use more prayer and encourage a prayer culture on this board.

Our Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms, may the glory of your name be the center on which our lives turn.

Manifest your kingdom realm, and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is fulfilled in heaven.

We acknowledge you as our Provider of all we need each day.

Forgive us the wrongs we have done as we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us.

Rescue us every time we face tribulation and set us free from evil.

For you are the King who rules with power and glory forever. Amen.
