It's not like the particual melodies, prayers, ways in which things are done during the liturgy, etc. are exactly the same as they were in the Church in the days of the Apostles. There is continuity, but these rites obviously developed, sometimes very deeply, throughout history.

Eh…no, thats about teachings. Not Hymns or even iconography while at it (just look at newer versions of Icons). Even liturgy that we use was reformed by Basil the Great and John the Chrysostom. Theres no problem, at least from my point of view, I myself like Latin chants.
