Imagine standing before the living God and trying to justify ruining child after child because society said it was okay. This is the sort of thing that damns entire civilizations. A good reminder of how the destruction of Sodom and the massacre of the Canaanites were 100% justified and even merciful on God's part for sparing future generations their evil and madness.
