The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

What is sinful? Is there a comprehensive list of everything sinful? Of course there are the ten commandments, but are there other sins apart from breaking the commandments or are all sins derived from the commandments? Everything I do seems sinful. Most of the time I dont even know whether something I do is displeasing to God or not anyway. Like talking to this person or associating with these people, whether they're able to influence me or not. Sometimes you're just forced to be around some people, and sometimes they want to befriend you and that's appealing many times. Or cursing under my breath, using a bit too firm a tone when someone rubs you the wrong way, or verbally defending yourself, or or being angry or in a bad mood, or acting within your own interests. Like why do such normal human experiences always seem wrong? I find myself constantly conflicted and indecisive, never able to make even the most urgent of life decisions because it's not like I can get constant feedback from what God wants me to to do all the time. Everything feels wrong and I feel so restrictive to the point that I dont even feel like I'm living my life, it's like constantly walking on a tightrope. What exactly is sinful? An I just overcomplicating things?

>What is sinful?

According to this board: everything

It's a sinful world. What did you expect?

This. >>651399. Because of our fallen nature we inherently sin and are due for the eternal BBQ pit. The point of Christianity is that because of our Lords sacrifice, we can cancel that trip if we accept our Lord.

Fret not and take heart. It is Conviction that you felt. Your heart starts to avoid sinning and resolves itself to please God even though it is in the fallen world. Live and learn I guess. Every time you did something wrong, reflect on that and resolves to be better. Was annoyed and angrily yelled at someone for calling you at busy time? Learn from that and be cool next time.

>it's not like I can get constant feedback from what God wants me to to do all the time.

The Holy Spirit is there for a reason.

If you know what God wants and you do otherwise because YOU desire it, that's sin.

Do you reckon that God wants you posting on 8chan?

Not him but, yeah, sometimes, on the this board. Good way for fellowship and discourse on scripture. Sure, there's crap-posting but some of us learn a lot here.

"Sin is a word, deed, desire (or omission) contrary to the eternal law."

Sin is nothing else than a bad human act. Now that an act is a human act is due to its being voluntary, whether it be voluntary, as being elicited by the will, e.g. to will or to choose, or as being commanded by the will, e.g. the exterior actions of speech or operation.

Again, a human act is evil through lacking conformity with its due measure: and conformity of measure in a thing depends on a rule, from which if that thing depart, it is incommensurate. Now there are two rules of the human will: one is proximate and homogeneous, viz. the human reason; the other is the first rule, viz. the eternal law, which is God's reason, so to speak

Accordingly Augustine (Contra Faust. xxii, 27) includes two things in the definition of sin; one, pertaining to the substance of a human act, and which is the matter, so to speak, of sin, when he says "word," "deed," or "desire"; the other, pertaining to the nature of evil, and which is the form, as it were, of sin, when he says, "contrary to the eternal law."
