Yes there will be some elements passed down, such as worshiping God, having an altar etc. But it you are implying that there is something nefarious in regards to any little possible Jewish influence, then you might be more comfortable in a Prot service.

I'd say more Synagogue worship than Temple. The lectionary is analogous to the Jewish reading through the Torah. The Jewish eternal flame is analogous to the Sanctuary Light. The hymns have similarities - benedictions, litanies, acclamations, and so forth. This should not be surprising to you, Rom 2:17-29.

I think the theory that early christian liturgy was modeled after temple worship, was popularized by Margaret Barker, I haven't read her books but if your interested you probably should check out her books.

When people say that, they don't mean that the Byzantine liturgy (or other Catholic/Orthodox liturgies) is descended directly from Jewish temple worship. If anything, Christian services are closer to synagogue meetings. What they mean is that Christians gradually over time incorporated Old Testament typology into the liturgy for pedagogical reasons or just because it looks cool.
