Judah is head of Israel. Thus it is fitting that head of Apostles should be him, that is Peter.

Most loved son of Jacob was Benjamin. So most loved disciple should be him - John.

James the Lesser was most united with the Temple. He should be Levi.

Andrew was first to be called. So he should be first son - Reuben.
