In all seriousness, are we really heading toward the possibility of a schism? Is it really that bad, or is it just blown out of proportion?

Try again

But the Roman Catholic Church is already in schism :)

3d84a7 No.634844

What would need to happen for the profecy of the popes be fullfilled?

It says:

Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.

Who is the dreadful judge and who are his people?

What if The End is a pope?

We already have a defacto one.

Not really. The mainstream church is kind of just dying. The liberals drove the traditionalists away to traditional churches. The liberals are leaving religion on their own because they're liberals. The church is trying desperately to appeal to liberals but liberals are still leaving because they're liberals. All the liberal faggotry the mainstream churches are displaying is driving even more traditionalists away. The end result is mainstream churches fade away and we're possibly left with a new era of Latin mass.

That would only make sense if "The End" pope is the dreadful judge.

That is, if the next pope is traditional catholic mass excommunicating modernists.

But that seems too much like internet LARPing. The next pope will be the black cardinal, that's rhe wrold we live in.

>The next pope will be the black cardinal, that's rhe wrold we live in.

Why do you think this? Someone like Marx is much more likely to be the pope.

>Someone like Marx is much more likely to be the pope.

This is what I fear. (((They))) finally get a pope in crazy enough to start killing all who don't conform to the gommie nwo daintily decorated with a cross.

My intuition based on nothing. I am not catholic, pardon me.

Though I didn't know the lad Marx, skimming through articles he seems even more insane than Francis.

There's also that asian Tagle. He's also batshit crazy but in that way they can pander into the asian countries.

People like them don't stop pandering when it fails, they double down.

Why? Why couldn't it be the false prophet?

Pottery. Meanwhile the One True Holy Apostolic Orthodox Catholic Church is as strong as ever.

No, but Eastern Orthodoxy is about to get a little bigger.

You shouldn't act so triumphalist considering the Church is currently embroiled in a battle with ecumenism.

the reforms made by Bergoglio have weakened a lot the power and influence of european bishops. Third world bishops are usually more traditional, therefore I doubt that Marx has any chance.
