Should I donate the 10% of my salary to the Catholic Church/NGO's/charity?

It's not the same if you donate the 10% of 800 dollars than the 10% of 2000 dollars (unless you have 3 kids in a private school).

>NGOs/charity

If you want to give money to an executive go right ahead, otherwise you're just wasting your money

Then how do you suggest helping through finance to spread christian views?

Volunteer and give physical and teachings as alms.

Teach the man to fish, etc.

Money is not inherently bad, but the fact that it is able to buy anything can be a downside when given to lost souls. They could and probably will spend on vices.

If your work agenda absolutely stops you from volunteering, I'd recommend something you yourself could check if it's being put to good use.

Instead of money to persecuted chinese christians, donate to a local volunteer group and see their work for yourself once a week/month.

Yeah, OP, you'd be better off giving your money to your church or an organization your church works with instead of an NGO that may or may not share your values.

The Church has plenty of it's own charities that you can donate to directly

10% is a good guideline. Be sure to do research into anything you give money to. Even if it is affiliated with the Catholic Church somehow, there may be things about it you don't know about.
