Jesus Christ represents the fulfillment of the Law. Now the epistles that St. Paul wrote to the various churches in the NT discusses your questions in more detail, so I suggest reading that part of the NT to understand the nuances. And no, please don't go around cherry-picking verses and visiting your pastors blog, let the Holy Spirit speak to you. Lastly, the two important laws are the following:

1. You are to love the Lord Yahweh, your God, with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, with every thought that is within you, and with all your strength

2. You must love your neighbor in the same way you love yourself.

You will never find a greater commandment than these.
