Honestly, I love the Anglicans here, but the Church of England is at this point a cluster of ecumenical meeting houses. They have basically flopped on every major belief in the last couple of decades.

For goodness sake, there's more practicing Catholics in England than there are Anglicans. Catholicism was only recently legalized. Instead of the CoE handing "their" (the churches that the English nobility took from the Catholics during the deformation) churches to the atheists, just give them to the Roman Catholics and Eastern Orthodox.

I love the Anglicans on this board, though.

When the Church of Divorce decided that worldly politics was more important the the Kingdom of God, this is exactly the kind of thing they opened themselves up to, and they absolutely deserve it. When you make the church subject to the state, you leave it to its mercy. I just hope that they repented of their errors before they died.
