Would the introduction of replicants (or similarly highly human robots) be sinful against God?

I would say no. I can't think of anything that goes against it biblically. It depends on the motive, I assume. If one is creating a robot to "play God," then I would consider it sinful. If it would be to create life for companionship and fellowship, then perhaps kosher.

The lesson I take from Frankenstein's monster was Frankenstein created it to serve his ego, not giving the monster any meaningful purpose. Ergo, things went awry. I think the same applies here.

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown. (Genesis 6:4)

The only thing against the idea of replicants in the Bible that I could think of was when God prohibits us from desiring 'strange flesh':

Jude 1:7

Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

I would also imagine that the wide adoption of replicants in intimate relationships might be sinful in that it would likely slowly kill away human civilization as the replicants/robots wouldn't be able to reproduce, and even if they did, the result would be an abomination.

I don't understand what you're implying.

>strange flesh

I think it means animals

I think it could encompass any living thing that is not human.
