I will, but I will probably have a bowl of soup instead, since that's my usual Friday food anyway.

You can't fast on Sunday, that's wrong since it's Easter. Unless you meant Sunday morning/Saturday Night. I think any sort of greens can count as herbs.

What sort of bread are you supposed to eat? Is it supposed to be unleavened? Do I go to the supermarket and just pick up a roll or something?

well I plan not to eat anything on Friday, and reject most pleasures, only drink water

you can eat any sort of bread, it's fine, doesn't have to be unleavened. just not something fancy like cinnamon raisin bread or something.

When? If you're doing a black fast you should probably abstain. On Easter Sunday of course you should 'feast' and not fast and enjoy yourself, celebrating the rising of our Lord

I would've done the 'no meat' for the whole of Lent had it not been for this one article on keeping distance from spiritual pride. I then restricted myself only on Fridays.
