Hello, christian friends.
I've been thinking about memorizing verses and excerpts from the Bible, especially the NT, and I thought : why not memorize whole books, but how do you achieve that, and would that be even good? Quoting the Gospel by heart, and being to meditate the Gospel without reading it sounds pretty good, in my honest opinion.
I know that some denominations which hold a specific translation of the Bible as better are into that, but what about others denoms? Could it be integrated in Lectio Divina for catholics, for example?
I also don't want to fall into weird muslim practices about the Coran or something like that.
