I don't see how either of those points are at all scientific. Something can't come from nothing, so something has always existed. That something is either the God or the universe. Also if God doesn't exist the concepts of being pathetic or indeed being brave are subjective concepts made up by humans. Those concepts only have value if God exists. And if God does exist, it would be pathetic for you to kill yourself and brave to continue existing. Killing yourself is at best completely pointless and at worse the most horrible mistake anyone could ever make.

Don’t worry lad, I’m Catholic and I feel a similar hollowness…mostly due to how people look at me and laugh at me, both atheists and other Christians. The only thing you must keep in mind is that you had a glimpse of God and He will never abandon you: don’t give up.

Its amazing how so many people forget just how great a guy God is. We never deserved it yet he helped us anyway with the greatest gift AND IT WAS FREE! Why wouldnt someone want to be best buds with Him?
