My friend is a Conservative Jew who is very devout. He thinks Jesus was nothing more than a good Rabbi who had some good ideas and never claimed to be Messiah but that his later followers did. How do I convincingly argue that Jesus is Messiah, the Son of God, to him? He tells me that the Jewish Messiah is very different from Christian conception of the Messiah. So how do I convince him that Jesus is the Messiah?

Press him for Scriptural defense of some of the more esoteric rabbibical doctrine; universal salvation through reincarnation, emenationist kabbalah, etc. There's a huge gap between what the prophets teach and what the rabbis teach, so if you read up on those gaps and implore him to justify them it should work. Just don't be a dick about it, a little leaven ruineth the whole lump.

One of the most deterring things for Jews is the cultural difference. Many Jews still see Christianity as some European religion of crusaders or hardcore 1950s American white conservatives. Show your Jewish friend the lives of middle eastern Christians in Egypt, lebanon, Syria, and Iraq, and even israel. Most Jews don't even consider Christianity due to how jarring the cultural differences have been in the west in recent centuries. But showing him middle eastern Christians may allow him to see Christianity as the true descendent of the Old Testament.

I never claimed such a thing, however Antisemitism is a form of "cursing" the Jewish people which in turn is damning yourself. The way to bless them is to pray that they accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah, and to spread the Gospel even to the Jewish people. I reject Dual-Covenant theology.
