Take a free day of rest you have, and for the first part of it listen to arguments for God, read them, and listen to arguments against God, and read those (or the opposite way, whichever you want). Then sit down somewhere comfortable, and see what you believe. Ask God if He exist, argue to yourself why He does or why He doesn't. Do this until you have an answer that has satisfied yourself, then see if it holds up.

Rinse and repeat until:

1) You literally get an answer from God that you know to be Him and not some random happening or coincidence.

2) You know God exist logically, and that there are no other options.

3) You know that God does not exist logically, and that there are no other options.

If someone can argue you into the faith, don't trust yourself, it means that anyone can also argue you out of the faith. You have to believe and know that God is real with your entire being, then after that, love Him with your entire being. Or the opposite, and know that He is not real.

You have all the tools at your disposal to discover the Church, God, and all other holy things and persons, and you also have all the tools at your disposal to find out He does not exist.

your beliefs shape your internal frame, seek correct beliefs. It's that simple.

God is the absolute. The world is like a beam of light. Where did it come from? everything has a source. Ask what is the source of he world and the source of your self? All beams lead back to God, what else would they lead to?

This is false. You can believe. Anyone can believe anything.

What you mean to say is that you could not tolerate the cognitive dissonance between what you already believe and believing in God.

That is very true. You will have to reassess your old beliefs and decide if they are more valuable than this new belief you want.

How have the old beliefs treated you? Has believing in pure materialism, biochemical predestination, and atheism made you happy? Has it helped you succeed in life?

I think if the answer was "yes" you wouldn't want to believe something else.

The demons will tell you "you'd be living a lie" and "it's just a happy fantasy" to believe in God. You'll think that's your internal voice talking - I assure you, it's demons.

You view of life is shaped by your beliefs. Your current beliefs have not made you successful or happy in the way you want to be. They are clearly wrong for you. Throw them away, all that you've been up to now, and put on the new beliefs that you actually want. Remake yourself.

That's what it means to be born again; then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.
