>how is a god good who is willing to torture anyone, ever?
Suffering is not intrinsically evil for Christians. In fact, suffering is a key way for someone to achieve greater glory. St. Ignatius of Antioch is a great read, since he felt sorry for those who were not going to be tortured and executed with him.
>How is it evil to demand evidence before you believe in something?
It isn't. Our entire belief comes from being presented with the timeless evidence of the resurrection. That is, the testimonies of the apostles. If you read the new testament, at one point it just straight list a bunch of eye witness for you to go talk to. These people paid for their testimony with their lives, never recanting.
For more modern stuff, we have miracles that testify to it.
>Pascal's wager can literally be used to justify anything.
No it can only be used to justify something in which one position gains you nothing and the other position gains you everything. Beyond that, almost 0 people base their faith on pascals wager because it is disingenuous. "Playing the odds" is not what we want.
If you want good logic, there is 2500 years of rationalistic philosophy that is impeccable backing up belief in God and the supernatural. No doubt we can go into that more deeply if you wanted.
>Why would a just god give people desires and then punish them for acting on those desires?
God didn't give man concupiscence.
>Why does science disprove every literal interpretation of the bible, which are all metaphorical except for the few areas not yet touched by science, which are all to be taken literally?
Literally not the case, ever.
>How is it good, just, or even acceptable to punish someone for what his grandfather did?
We don't.
>How is it good, or even acceptable, to punish a man for what his neighbor does, as when God destroys whole cities?
God saved the righteous people when they were present. Specifically it goes into how each time this happens.
>How is it good, or even acceptable to have your people infiltrate and then murder the men of a neighboring nation, taking their wives and daughters as sex slaves?
Which part are you referencing specifically?
>How is it that modern Christian morality contradicts the parts of the bible that society has advanced beyond, such as hating gay people, not eating pig meat, and giving a literal 10% of one's income to the church?
We having "advanced", we've degenerated. Pagans indulge in perverse sexual fetishes like homosexuality. The dietary laws have important spiritual significance that is more complex than a one sentence answer, but we can go into those too. It is still pious to tithe and you should support the Church financially if you can.
