Redpill me on the Jesuits, /christian/. Why do they get so much hate compared to other Christian organizations?

Because people have confusing perspectives, and they often look at things in different ways

They tend to be very liberal and open to heretics. I'm not sure why but it's just a trend. There's nothing wrong with them on paper I dont think

I guess because of all the things going around them such as the conspiracy theories that the Jesuits work with the Masons to infiltrate and subvert organizations.

Aside from the conspiracy theories a lot of the modern Jesuits pushed the 'new theology' which has ravaged the Roman Church

>'new theology'

What would that be?

4b8e36 No.600167

Protestants seem to dislike the Jesuits because the "Society" was specifically made to destroy the Protestant movement, from what I understand. Also perhaps because of the conspiracy theories surrounding the Jesuits

Catholics seem to dislike them because they tend to be liberal-minded and can influence the Church quite heavily with their """progressive""" views.

I don't know about the Orthodox, but I bet the filioque issue has something to do with it :^)

Why did you feel the need to post that pic OP

Not Catholic, but the problem I have with them is the liberal-mindedness. I'm sure it's heavily correlated with what Gabriele Amorth said is happening within the Vatican, and Anne Catherine Emmerich's visions of the future of the Church.

Wait, what? Please tell me.

Emmerich: https://onepeterfive.com/anne-catherine-emmerich-and-the-two-popes/

As for Amorth, in an interview he stated that "The devil resides in the Vatican and you can see the consequences", in regards to a physical attack on the Pope. Remember, there is no place on Earth holy enough that Satan cannot gain permission to enter.

Firstly they were hated because how holy and good they were. This was golden age of this order, age of real science, real preaching, real spiritual and corporal renewal etc. But, o great blessing and curse, they were obedient. They feared no power of the world, no matter how strong they were. And powers of the world baned Jesuitst from thier countries and forced Pope to disband order. And then, o great tragedy, Prussia and Russia retained them, twisted and corrupted so when they were officaly resurected they were difrent, wordly.

There are good jesuitst probably. Traditionals, with Ignaceian spirit in them. But they are few.
