When you say that “police said they weren’t”, do you simply mean that the police came to your house and couldn’t find any signs of an intruder? That wouldn’t be too strange a scenario. Or do you mean that the police are saying that there’s no way there was an intruder there, despite both you and your Mom seeing someone. That would be quite strange. I’m going to need more details here OP.
