Basically if you are remorseful of your sin, you recognize its evil, God will work with you. Addiction is a powerful thing and God knows that. However, if you became one of those people who misinterprets the Bible to try and justify his porn and masturbation habits, and because you have convinced yourself that it isn't wrong, you aren't apologetic for it, then that would be a very bad sign indeed.
