What does /christian/ think of anti-natalism?

Ecclesiastes 4:2-3

Mark 14:21

Ive put some time of thinking about this and i concluded that Christians can be more prone to Anti-natalism than Atheists because if there really is no God as an atheist would say then its only logical to take control of nature and the world by ending all sentient beings and would be sentient beings by any means possible then finally ending itself.

As for the Christian view point we would just stop reproducing and let God sort what ever is left on Earth so in theory us Christian can be easily attracted to the argument of annihilation without actually doing the work.

We all know that life currently as it is always attached with suffering and silly desire we live with this as by default. We chase silly ambitions and lust as our main motivation.

In case you're wondering i'm not an Anti-natalist.

Share your thoughts and what

what a great thread

that verse was for the old testament when the israelites tribe was just starting. Its stupid to use that now unless you're a white nationalist.

Clearly you don't understand that so your opinion doesn't matter to me.

8d3a22 No.592947

>>592942

That verse was before the Israelite tribes existed. It was a command for all creatures. It was the first command God gave.

>And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:28)

>Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. (Psalm 127:3-5)

>Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 18:10)

So from the Pentateuch, the Psalms, and the Gospels we can see that God commands us to be fruitful and multiply, that children are his blessing, and that we must not despise children. Anti-natalists are not fruitful, do not multiply, and they hate children and consider them a burden. It is satanic. It is anti-God to hate children.

It's the first chapter of genesis, you illiterate fucktard. The first commandment Lord God gave, predating even the Ten Commandments.

I wasn't replying seriously because your OP made no sense. It relies to heavily upon what your idea of Christianity (and it's wrong, doofus.)

Also i forget to add that only Christians have the absolute concept of souls. So in theory there is a self and a parent forced a soul into the "meat grinder".

Incase you dont get my point anti-natalism would be more compatible in Christian view point. Though i wouldnt advice it, i think it would only make things worse by dysgenics to people who cant understand the idea. But >>592948 should be castrated though. Antinatalism works on some seriously weird reverse utilitarian morals to justify itself, so it's bs.

And if you wanna go on "possible bad stuff that might happen to your kid", read this

http://www.cracked.com/article_19806_the-6-most-terrifying-infections-you-wont-believe-are-real.html

Do you now feel the urgent need to hang yourself rather than face the risk of having one of these dormant nightmare diseases?

No?

Then you should stop focusing on possible bad futures for your kid.

He's statistically likely to generally be fine.

Your grandparents have likely been through worse and they ended up pretty ok.

5973e1 No.592981

I'm not sure I want to have children because it's illegal not to abuse them and make them into trannies. I mean I love kids and I really, really want to be a father. But to simply exist in the CURRENT YEAR is psychological abuse. I wouldn't want that for my kids.

kids have a chacne to go to hell, theres that too. I hate defending this ideology filled with leftist but thats it. I think anti-natalist arguments are the hardest there is to break.

You kinda agreed with me with that post because when you grow up the possibility to hang myself is already in there.

>>592981

Insane tumblrinas are the minority, though it doesn't seem that way.

>good communities to raise your kids in

Maybe in more "libertarian" countries, where the (((government))) isn't literally everywhere. I live in a rural area and faggotry and trannyism is promoted at our school, there are immigrants everywhere, most kids are on drugs etc etc. It's only been getting worse these past few years and I don't see it ever improving. I've given up all hope.

2954b6 No.592996

likely those piece of shit will be the future audience of anti-natalist community. They will want to play the sjw moral highground.

Man will always need a family anon you will need it for your psyches sake unless you're highly introverted or wanting to die early. Likely youll end up as sexual degenerate with all those urges even God forbid a waifuist.

> I think anti-natalist arguments are the hardest there is to break.

It's "muh bad feels", the philosophy.

>My kid might get tortured to death by ISIS/explode/die in a car crash. OMG!

Yeah, but it's unlikely.

And living your life on the basis of bad stuff that MIGHT happen is insane.

Besides, we are christians for crying out loud.

We are descended from guys that lived their life hardcore, where the threat of getting martyred just for your identity.

And their peasant descendants went through wars and famines and droughts and plague, depending on the time period.

Are a bunch of liberals and emotional suffering supposed to affect me, when my grandma went through war, famine, communism and earthquakes?

You underestimate human resilience.

>OK you're right so stop eating apples

Peak brainlet. This is the single dumbest thing I’ve seen on this board. No verse in genesis says not to eat apples, and even if hypothetically God commanded us to abstain from apples, that would be part of old covenant fasting law, which were specifically revoked by Christ and his apostles. However, at no point does the Bible say that you shouldn’t be fruitful or multiply. In fact, through the entire Bible and up through the gospels God tells us to have children. Outside of just commands to have children and to love children, the gospels and the epistles use children as good examples. You are not only a gnostic, you are also insufferably dense. Maybe it’s a good thing you’re not breeding
