Not that I've got an issue with encouraging others to be more peaceful or your broader point, but how can you seriously say one can't bring peace from discord? Every era of peace came from a preceding conflict, it's inherent to the concept of peace (as distinct from strife). I think it's more productive to examine their motivations and their claims in contrast to the proportionality of their methods used, rather than decrying all violence as unjust (we know that it's not, hence teachings about just war). The problem is that their claims are invalid, their motivations corrupt and their methods amount to little more than extortion and robbery

The people promoting leftist progressivism are not honest at all and there's no point in letting them get their talking points across. They just tell you things they even know are false just to get the desired effect, whether shock value or for misdirection and confusion, they openly have no standards for either truth or honesty, just making up whatever is most useful for them on the spot.
