I know how you feel, OP. it would be easier if everyone, especially catholics, weren't such cunts about it.

I want to know which church is the true church, but when somebody on here demands that their denomination is the true church and all other christians are hell-bound, it pushes me away farther from that particular denomination. It seems extremely prideful.

It's not so much prideful as a useful tool to scoop up a lot of Pascal's wager types. But in the end you are left with reliance in their own strange doctrines instead of reliance in the word of God.

I guess Christ was prideful then. Better watch out for that guy, you don't want to follow Him. I heard His apostles were real mean cunts, always telling people what to do and what not to do. That St.Paul guy was a real chauvinist too. In one of his letters he said woman was made for man! Can you believe that? St. Paul needs to stop behaving badly. Then those apostles taught servants how to be mean and those guys are now called the church fathers, how patriarchal right?, and one of them called St. John Crossatom was yelling about a guy who sinned and said he hath a devil. Where does he get off telling people how to behave?
