Depends what you mean by communism. All I meant was a system in which property is held in common. Of course most communists want to achieve such a system by killing or oppressing other people, because they are Marxists. But a system of common ownership is not in itself stealing, if it is entirely voluntary.

Not really. If a bunch of people pool their resources together, buy some land, and start a commune there, then there is nothing involuntary or coercive about that. That’s why I’m saying that on a small enough scale, with enough dedicated people, on a purely voluntary basis, this sort of thing can work.
