Hey /christian/, first time poster reporting in. I got some questions about converting to Catholicism, specifically about the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.

Have any Catholicbros here gone through the RCIA or something similar? What was it like? Was there anything you wish you would have done or known before starting the process? Any advice on the topic would help.

Most of the users there and even the board volunteers have gone through RCIA or are currently in it.

The RCIA process will vary in each parish depending on the instructor, but generally catechumens are received into the Church on Easter. As the other anon suggested, I'd recommend looking for RCIA at a more traditional parish (one that offers a mass in Latin, they tend to be more thorough in their teachings). The directory he linked might be a little outdated, but we'd be happy to help you find a parish.

Its a CHRISTIAN Discord. Christianity is a religion, a important part of your life.

You might as well grab your daily routines and start sharing it with the advertisers at that point. You know that its on the same level, specially if people there discuss "Guys I did X or Y Sin" and stuff like that.
