Easy rules of thumb to ask before posting stupid questions about whether X is wrong.

>What kind of wrong do you mean?

There is moral wrong, which always concerns choices. Moral wrong is sin. Anything that isn't a choice is not a sin. Simple.

What kinds of things are not choices? Natural biological events are not choices even a little bit. This includes emotions and involuntary thoughts.

Actions done under involuntary emotional duress, such as fear, can be choices, but they are less free because of the duress. They can be sinful, but their sinfulness is attenuated by the duress.

Besides moral wrong, there can be bad natural predispositions in a person, which are not themselves sins but are still imperfections. They are "wrong" in a different sense than that in which moral wrong is "wrong". These are not the same as vices. For instance, being stupid is a bad thing, and an imperfection. But it's neither a sin nor a vice.

Vice is a condition of your soul which results from actually committing sin. It is an infection that is a consequence of your own choices. Vice does not just magically pop up out of nowhere, but results from actual sin. That is how it is different from an imperfection.

>Do you mean wrong, or something else?

Some things are wrong. But other things just "feel" wrong. These are all different categories that you need to clearly separate in your head: wrong, illegal, unhealthy, socially taboo, weird, selfish.

Often these categories overlap in specific cases: for example, an illegal thing can be wrong because it is illegal. But not always. Illegal things, selfish things, unhealthy things, socially taboo things, weird things, none of these categories of things are always per se wrong just for that reason alone.

>Am I asking whether it's wrong in general, or wrong for me?

God has a will and a plan for every individual Christian. Often a thing which is perfectly permissible in itself will be in conflict with God's will for you personally. Or maybe God's will for you will include something that most Christians would not profit from. Abstract arguments about the abstract permissibility of this or that will not help you here, except to point out what kinds of things are always wrong and thus never part of God's will for anyone. To find what God's will for you personally entails in the concrete is a work that you must take to prayer and your spiritual advisor. There's no shortcut and internet people can't do the discernment for you.
