I may be a couple month's behind on this, but just in case:

>17th Century Letter Allegedly Written by Possessed Nun Decoded For the First Time

>After 341 years, a mysterious jumble of archaic script allegedly written by an Italian nun possessed by Satan has finally been unraveled. Scientists have accomplished the feat through the use of a code breaker they discovered on the Deep Web.

>…Legends claim that, after a long battle between the nun and Satan, the letter was found in the nun’s hand on August 11, 1676 when she awoke from a fainting spell in her room with her face smeared with ink.

>…Live Science says a written account about the occurrence by Abbess Maria Serafica attests to Sister Maria’s courage, claiming Satan would have tried to force the nun to sign the letter. Yet Sister Maria apparently opposed the demand by writing "Ohimé" (oh me) instead.

>…It claims that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are “deadweights”, and goes on to say that humans invented God and Zoroaster. It also asserts that “God thinks he can free mortals” adding “this system works for no one”. Finally, it seems to refer to the River Styx, which separates the Earth and the Underworld in Greek and Roman mythology, in a curious phrase “Perhaps now, Styx is certain.”

>humans invented God and Zoroaster.

Could the Devil have been giving a sneak peek of his involvement in the writings of Nietzsche?

This. Go back to chewing on Judas, Brutus, and Cassius, while crying like a fagboy.

You know that only one person have to lose their faith in God in order to secure your damnation right? That person is you. Even if the whole world lost their mind, only that person can secure your salvation.

There is a reason that the straight and narrow gate is the way.

Hmmm… I'm getting the feeling that people are taking this post in the wrong way. Like I'm promoting the Devil or something.

I posted this because:

1) A 341 year old cipher written by a nun supposedly possessed by the Devil (or maybe, as the article and other articles have said, is simply a combination of her having schizophrenia/bi-polar disorder, and her immense linguistic knowledge) finally decoded is fascinating, and I thought y'all might be interested.

2) The "Humans invented God and Zoroaster" line reminded me of the rantings of Nietzsche, and made me wonder if this was the Devil giving a sneak peak of things to come through what he was trying to accomplish through Nietzsche's works years later. But maybe it's a stretch.

I don't believe nor promote the decoded message obviously.

Why the incredulity regarding code breaking software on the Deep/Dark Web exactly?

Actual scientists write custom cryptanalysis software to get more lab cred and mo' money fo' dat research, this smells like amateur hour

I can't find the actual translation, just news sites saying "it's been translated!" and quoting 2 lines
