Why do Christians continue to think that cultural opposition to Christianity can be overcome while Christians are afraid of leaving that culture? Liberal culture has heard the Gospel. They won't convert because Christians are still too much part of the Liberal paradigm. If Christians can rebuild a society on a non-Liberal foundation then they can begin to accomplish a real spreading of the Gospel.

I remember reading this book and thinking that the dude came to a lot of the same conclusions as me. Just a few weeks before reading the book I had a few experiences that drove home to me how much I wanted to have a devout wife and family that lived a life with similarities to what's found at a monastery. I already had studied computer science in college which got me on the anti-tech pill, so I've already been planning on moving somewhere and hopefully finding somewhere to work and go to church that has reasonably priced land nearby, which I would try to work with my family for extra resources with the hopes of home schooling in the future. I remember disagreeing with him on some stuff I can't remember, but I think it was minor. I think most of the people who have a hard time with his ideas either are normies who can't imagine not keeping up with the current year or people who really want to live or die evangelizing, which I can respect even if I think it won't profit much

We are called to make disciples of all nations. How can we obey the Great Commandant if we entirely separate from the nations? Did Christ not say that he sends you out as sheep among wolves? Did the early Church not risk execution in Pagan Rome, the Rome of brothels and the Colosseum, while spreading their faith? Do you see your OO brothers doing this as they face martyrdom? This is the larpiest thing and it needs to go away.

Its not a "THEY'RE KILLING US" or "THEY'RE SINFUL" situation. Its a "THEY'RE SPREADING SIN" situation. People openly talk about lewdness with intent of corrupting others, just see other Hedonist philosophers in this world. Since some people here don't go out to the world, you can instead go to r/Christian or somewhere like that on reddit and see as pseudo-christians try to convince others that being gay is okay. Schools teaching children to become feminist for the name of progressiveness.

If you can stay uncorrupted when someone exhorts you to sin, you are free to participate the good fight in the way people here do, and join missionary work. If you can't, then I tell you that you should flee when able, not that there is somewhere to flee.
