This much of a brainlet and yet so prideful.
>in a ring like dogs
Do you really think boxing is just two guys trying to hurt the other the most?
Boxing is a game. The possibility to get hurt doesnt make it sinful. Of course there is a lot of people using gloves that want just the violence of beating another person, but these people are not boxers.

The gloves are meant to protect the hands, not the head of the opponent. Also, it makes it easier to knockout someone. Those bare-handed fights went A LOT of rounds until it was over, thus causing a lot more of injuries, like broken hand bones and cuts, even when only palm-striking. Rabbit-punching (behind the head) were more frequent also, and those are a lot more dangerous than any punch to the face, with or without gloves. And can you picture being punched in the liver with a bare-hand of an experienced figther? I would like to avoid that at all cost.
>modern day boxing stance is a meme in an actual fight without gloves
Agile footwork in a street fight is a lot more valuable than grappling skills.
