Brothers, do you have any advice on how I can think more about God during my daily life and generally avoid sin? The Bible says to be vigilant and also

>Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

There are times in my life when I'm really motivated, think about God every moment and I'm constantly pushed forward to do good things and fulfill His will, but most often my daily life gets a bit mundane and I find it hard to think about the things listed above when I'm surrounded by things that are pretty much nothing like them for ~8 hours 5 days of the week. And over time that leads to sin which I want to get completely rid of.

I'm not good at it, but all that stuff in the Bible about watching your tongue. I wonder if it means more than just what we say and actually means what we think too. We have to constantly be watching not only what we say but what we say to ourselves. Total mental discipline.

James 1:26

>If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

Unceasing prayer.

There is a reason Christians do not pray five times a day.

Christian faith is demonstrated in other ways.

Show faith and love to those around you and you will find happiness and fulfillment.
