Pope John Paul "Yesterday, a funny thing happened to me on my way to the Conclave" The First, had the time to say
> We are the objects of undying love on the part of God. We know: he has always his eyes open on us, even when it seems to be dark. He is our father; even more he is our mother.
Which in less feminist times was an acceptable thing to say IMHO, because the concept was not dualist, was compatible with the way God is considered father theologically, made explicit the intimate dependency between creator and creature.
This, on the other hand, is negation "we know better than that male Jesus aka the Christ, so we apply the gender category to god, never mind whether it makes any sense at all, hence we decide how you shall call ze".
Not calling Lord the Lord, instead, makes me wonder whether they will come out as satanists soon. By showing up with black candles, or more probably by getting in bed with Islam.
