Are you an animal or a man? Not everything is driven by emotional reactions, that's another jewish trick they've played on you. No need to look for a feeling.

You're gonna be ok if you realize that. Oh and have faith in God.

animals are the ones who don't feel when they do bad things, since they don't have the moral sense, probably.

Even when feeling sorrow of having offended God is good, you may or not feel remorse or "bad feelings" but that doesn't matter, because faith is not a matter of feelings, because feelings are unreliable and ever-changing. All is in the will and the intellect.

REPENTING is: realizing that what you did is wrong, understanding that's not something that God desires coupled with the firm proposition of never sinning again.

Proposition, because we can't compromise on something we know we can so easily fail. We cannot "never sin", nevertheless, we try.

So, don't worry if you don't have "bad feelings". The very fact that you worry about it proves that you are not a reprobate. A true reprobate wouldn't care.

And protip: reprobation exist but there's absolutely no way of telling who may be or who isn't.

You killed your conscience. It's possible. But conscience is an act of soul and you can re-establish it in her. Spiritual exercises and contact with your spiritual father are highly recommended. Pray that God will renew you. Also, go to confession.

you are not alone

i am here with you

You shouldn't confess if it's something you are not sure will stop. There's no point in getting absolved of your sin if you go back to committing the exact same sin within 10 seconds.

If it's a thing you've done once (rather than a constant sin, such as doubting the doctrine of the Church for instance), the mere fact you're thinking of confessing shows that you are repentant to some degree. Take the occasion while it's available. If we had to be in a state of deep contrition for everything, we would be obssessing over our sin and forget about God.

I'd honestly suggest that whatever sin you're dealing with you spend some time deep in thought about it. It's sin so it definitely affects between you and God for one thing. I'm not telling you what you're saying is some kind of bad sign, but maybe you just aren't fully processing the effects that it has. So remind yourself more on what it's doing and begin to understand the damage it's caused. It's up to you there. I guarantee you if you meditate and reflect on the facts of this enough, the regret and revulsion will come on their own without you looking for it. And that's how you know feelings are genuine, you didn't look for them. And not just manufactured which seems like so many people do. That's putting the cart before the horse.

But you don't actually need the feeling to know it's wrong, so it's not some kind of red flag afaik. Just believe without relying on base feeling, which is usually a fleeting thing.

The fact that you recognize it's bad means there is always hope. God's grace is working within you.

>animals are the ones who don't feel when they do bad things, since they don't have the moral sense, probably.

Animals -feel- bad by the sense of impending punishment - raised adrenaline, fear, etc. Just like young humans. If discipline is constant and harsh enough those feelings can continue into adulthood for humans.

However, if you were not taught morals well enough as a child, you won't have those feelings. You either inculcate them into yourself or you ensure that your actions operate from your rational side. Really, you should do both.
