Pretty much yeah.
Pic related, ecumenism in the modern sense is all about paving the way for the false messiah to do a few "miracles" and draw in the masses that are too "enlightened" to hold fast to any one doctrine. So essentially they'll believe anything and will be prime targets when the time comes.
I don't think it's useful to dwell on this stuff too much, and I think one can certainly have dialogues with people with other beliefs (indeed that's our duty), but in order for (little 'o') orthodoxy to survive you're going to necessarily have to be uncompromising on certain things. And being uncompromising basically disqualifies from any act of ecumenism that operates from a """neutral""" standpoint.
Tell the truth, tell nothing but the truth, and tell people why their view falls short of the truth, and love them the whole time.
