>online resources on combating the normalfag menace
Do it where it's appropriate. I don't pontificate about the Saints when I'm out drinking or playing games with my friends, I tell them about these things by tying it into stories I've heard or things that have been bothering me in some way or another. Dialogue, not preaching, is how you reach people. Preaching is something you do AFTER they begin to listen. You'd be surprised how many people want the simple things and run into roadblocks
>they want a partner that won't cheat on them or hurt them, but they lack the self-discipline to hold themselves to that same standard, and aren't looking where those partners will be (i.e. church)
>they know that doing drugs and partying all the time is bad for their health, but they are unwilling to search for alternatives
>they know that most of their friendships are fairly empty in the party lifestyle but the idea of leaving them behind is irreconcilable
>they know that there's a void that can't be filled by game of suckn'fuck, but it's all they've been taught, and it's all they've known
>they, like any normal human bean, are unwilling to show these feelings because nobody wants the emotional baggage, hence why it is self-medicated with the party lifestyle
Approach it as the mediator and 'guy with answers' and you should be set.
