There is no better argument against democracy than the fact that Jesus was basically crucified democratically.

55e554 No.552114

It's more of an argument against mob rule than democracy unless it manifests in that form, though a republic is not a direct democracy.

That's because we are lowly creatures below God. He hasn't appointed any kings in our time and you know the position was abused - men are not above one another otherwise.

It is not anger. It is judgement.

His Kingdom is out of this world, but it's a kingdom, not a democracy. It is perfect.

We can never create a perfect system, but it's more likely for a virtous monarch/dictator to take power than for a group of virtous people to be elected, because the majority of people are stupid and will vote for the most charismatic person who promises them the most free shit.

It doesn't really matter what the system is, but what kind of people hold power. A good democraticly elected government can bring prosperity just as well as a good dictator, and a bad elected government can ruin a country just as bad as a bad dictator. I'm more in favor of an autocratic system, but it's objective superiority is debatable.

Also, monarchy =/= dynastic inheritance.

The only difference between us is that I want Jews to baptised for Christ to save their souls while he wanted to baptise them with in Elbe with stones at their feet in the name of Moses.

Plus liberals here ARE Jews, there is no denying it.

>Most of the monarchs of Europe were appointed by the Pope. You ok with that?

Not really true, mainly only the HRE did this and most Emperors weren't technically Emperors because the Pope refused to crown them. Not supporting the Latins here and the whole thing about the Pope getting to depose rulers is terribly wrong, but there has to be some clarification for historical accuracy.

3c28ef No.552421

Doesn't apply in this situation.

The point of democracy is to apply the will of the masses, and it has been shown that the will of the people is to do evil, and it forever will be.

Deal with it.

Democracy is a meme concept tbh, like communism it doesn't work in reality but looks good on paper, from democracy we have republics but republics have done nothing but divide a country through the creation of parties with different goals and sometimes it becomes a rat race for votes that candidates don't even live up to their promises.

I'm starting to think democracy facilitates corruption and dishonesty through this and and why in some republics (especially developing ones) the government hierarchies are corrupt.

A Christian monarch acting in the interest and welfare of the people and united in command is the way to go tbh, unfortunately that possibility of being realised is almost nil in our times.

Good thread OP, made me think.
