Should i become a Church of Scotland minister?I seem to have had this calling all my life, discussed it with my parish minister a few times before but nothing ever came of it due to leaving the village for university. The CoS has made some bad decision

The CoS has made some bad decisions on gay ministers,gay marriage and the likes but i think it could be saved as a whole eventually.

Im an Irish Presbyterian so I have nothing but love for my scottish brothers. However with that being said I and my church are much more comfortable with free church of Scotland which has remained much more faithful to biblical truth. That being said if you feel a calling to the church of Scotland I wish you luck in being a voice of true Christianity within the denomination.

I actually know the minister of my local Free kirk and have many wee free relatives, so i do enjoy the free kirks voice within the community.

However the numbers are with the CoS, it may be foolish pride clouding my eyes and a tendency for cloak and dagger politics but i see the drawing of the kirk back to the word of god and away from the foibles of this modern time to be something that must be done without fail ere our birthright be lost.
