Is Judaism is really religion or its just a man made tradition for jews to keep national identity?

What about Old Testament now many of jews said that

this is just bunch of myths for kids

But I think they reject OT just in time when gentiles get in to it and Christianity started.

Was it for maintain national unity ?

So what happened to them?

how it started to be reformed ?

what's the difference between old testament judaism and reformed judaism of today

sorry for so many questions

"Judaism" only started after the destruction of the 2nd Temple by Christ (the Apocalypse in the partial-preterist exegesis). "Two Powers in Heaven" was declared a heresies by the Rabbis some time after that, as far as I know.

For orthodox Judaism it has to do with following traditions outside, and sometimes superseding, of bible that probably didn't exist in the claim timed of origin (similarly to the world's largest denomination), which is called the Midrash or better known as the Talmud. We kinda have a glimpse of the tradition in the books of Ezra and Nehemiah, but not as the same extension as we see today-tho, if you read the books, the tradition was a method for the israelis to retain the Hebrew identity.

As for the reform (not reformed) Jews, are basically ethnocentric people who abandoned all religious piety, yet they want to keep a jewish identity for themselves.

>Here's some facts

>Uh, heh, no, try again sweetie, these facts don't match up with my opinions

Let me guess - you're one of those people who thinks Judaism is basically Christianity but just the old testament, right? You have no idea what the Jews believe, only that it can't possibly be bad or else it's /pol/ propaganda.

Judaism as a term didn't even exist until after Christianity came about. It was oral tradition that was written down in the Mishna after Christ, then later expanded upon in the larger Talmud in what's referred to as the Gemara. Babylonian Talmud and the Jerusalem Talmu compilations differ, but Babylonian one has the most authority.

So already we've got the Mishna, the Gemara, the Torah and the Kabbalah, and that's to say nothing of the various rabbinic writings that while not canon scripture are considered holy texts and necessary for an understanding of the Jewish faith. The Mishna/Gemara are, by themselves, around 63 separate tractates, a good portion of these texts is just a compilation of strange cultural practices including what direction to face when pooping, how to hold up your penis when peeing so as to not incite arousal, honestly it's fucking weird. A lot of these writings came a good 100-200 years after Christ's death, too.

The ultimate point being, yes, Judaism is largely a set of traditions. Most of the Jewish writings don't have anything to do with god, only with legal disputes and rabbinic opinions on everything and nothing at all. Their holy texts even include passages where the rabbis reportedly outsmart god, which should be all the information you need on "tradition vs actual religion".

For you specifically, stop being such a retard. You're on a Christian board, by canon you're supposed to believe Jews are in error for rejecting Christ the messiah. If your knee-jerk reaction to anything that explains the error of Jewry is "GUHHH WOOOWW GO BACK TO /POL/" you need to look inwards and do some thinking my man.
