In highschool i had mostly female friends, they were all very beautiful women, I never wanted to date them nor do anything sexual, despite being at that age. They were all pleasant people to talk to. I also had less attractive female friends who were also pleasant in their own different ways. Beauty can be lustful, but it doesn't have to be. I find a lot of beauty in my family, a lot of uniquely masculine men and feminine women.

Most of the problem for men come from the aftermath of feminism (which has been popularized by men as well), delaying or removing marrage made room for the hook up culture. I agree that men are responsible as well, however men are much more expandable than women in a lot more areas.
One example would be how men have to work to have a woman, and will have a difficulty finding better work because women have hired for quotas in better jobs.
