Does anyone here have any experience with or thoughts on pic sort of related?
My priest and a lot of folks at my church (smallish Anglo-Catholic Church) are huge into this stuff called Immanuel Prayer. They keep going on about “Brain Science” this and “Inner Healing” that. I am super leery of the whole thing. It seems pop-sciencey and way too charismatic/wishful thinking/self delusion.
Then again, I grew up in an alcoholic home and lost my horrible father at a young age and I’m generally a pretty anxious, depressed, and confused person….so maybe they are right?
My priest tells me I’m being like Naaman.
