Jesus spoke in parables and quoted scripture Matthew 12:3-5. Generally speaking I use Bible quotes in my day to day speech as I can fit them in and as appropriate as to edify any Christians I might come into contact with in accordance with 1 corinthians 14:26. I just use Bible quotes as to weed out those who don't care what is said in God's word since they wouldn't look up the verses. Why don't you edify me on your intepretation of the verses supporting your arguement then?

As Christians, we're called not only to edify Christians, but to also spread the faith to those that haven't yet received God's word (many of which, we know, browse our board). With all due respect, I think you may not currently be doing that in the most effective way.
