No its no sin.
There is no "law" in the new or old testament that would declare this as a sin.
I find it funny that when the "lawyers" of the the OT come and say we still have to follow the OT commandments, all christian denominations go haywire and say, jesus removed the restrictions, "everything" is now permissible. But once you ask is xyz a sin, everything is in some way evil, so some people.
What is it now. Is everything permissible and the shackles of the "laws" are lifted and if you do it in the spirit its ok, or are there still set laws for sin, that if you dont do according to pope, teacher or book; xyz you are in sin.
I tell you now, no commandments or opintions made by man will be in any way binding for us. The only things that are sins are those the scripture tells us about. Paul said it, the OT is full of storys so that we may learn from them.
So in the end, all people that go and shout; sin and heresy, because you dont believe my (or my religous system) perspecitve are satans (look the word up). They will be judged according to their own standarts, so you can bet that they will have it hard on judgement day. So do as the bible says;
„By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.“ 1 John 2:3-6
„Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.“1 John 3:4
Everything that is written down as a sin is a sin. Nothing more or less.
But do not forget, that there is also the commandment; obey every word of god. So if you get a dirrect commandment from god and you dont act on it you have disobeyed god and sinned.
