No OP, military enlistment is not a sin as long as you are not taking authority against what matthew 4:8-10 and romans 13 say. Since you are serving under a authority you are in the clear as long as they hold power 1 peter 1:13 as to not be rioting 2 peter 2:13 should they not hold power.

Now that said, I recomend not joining a military so you can focus more on finding the few Christians left and helping edify them 1 corinthians 14:26. You should read the Church Fathers where they distinguish between valid authority (God-sanctioned Monarchy) and invalid authority (tyrants, republics, and revolutionaries).
