If Replicants/Androids become real in the future, could they become Christians?

I know creating a Replicant/Android would be a sin, but–once it's created–what would Christians have to say about one if they wanted to become a Christian?

What if the attitude of Replicants in the future is that they are simply tools? Wouldn't them being a bible encyclopedia be the same as having a computer that has a copy of the bible. I don't see the problem then that they are pro-bible then. Since they literally don't have souls, maybe their good faith can get them backed up in an android heaven servers we'd make for them or something.

335154 No.538214

the Philip K. Dick books referred to them as simply 'androids', albeit organically grown - the term Replicant only came into usage with the film

in either case, they seem to be bio-mechanically engineered machines rather than actual persons

of course if they were augmented human clones, that would be a whole other issue

Colossians 1:19-20

19 For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,

20 and through him to reconcile to himself ALL THINGS, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

Wouldn't one be playing God by making a Replicant?

>Wouldn't one be playing God by making a Replicant?

Psalm 82:6.

Anywho, I dont see problem with making a replicants (assuming its within boundaries of ethics and doesnt threat general human population), assuming that it will become possible, which I doubt. In general, I dont think that it will be possible for us to make conscious beings, at least before Judgment day.

As for the rest of the post, this is nothing new, but there was always Humans and the rest.

>For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

Even Angels. Christianity is about redemption of mankind by Christ and then by us, the entire creation.

>20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,

>21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

>22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Anywho, this is my opinions and assertions for now, based what I know and read in the scripture. But this is yet an empty talk as this isnt on a schedule and I, as stated before, doubt that we could create intelligent life at least before Judgement day. Before that by my point, maximum that we can make from nothing is merely a virus type semi-alive creatures.

The Humanization of technology is the dehumanization of Man.This will be popularized by sexualizing technology to men with VR, real dolls, and finally robot women, now that real women are beyond salvaging from modern culture and body altering hormones in our food.

>Daniel 2:43 And just as you saw the iron mixed with baked clay, so the people will be a mixture and will not remain united, any more than iron mixes with clay.

Transhumanism is the true end game, the absolute anti-christ world government. This will be satan's ultimate counterfeit of heaven, technology augmentation will used to separate poeple from themselves. It will be shown as something good and beneficial, (and i know that it will bring some benefit to people), but it will come at an ultimate cashless cost, the cost of your thoughts and actions, the mark on your forehead and hand.

>Revelation 13:16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,

Don't let the face value deception fool you, machines will never be human Just like how trans-women will never be women, if you think otherwise, you're being manipulated by worldly programming.

Regarding the second webm. The part where he talks about not needing school anymore because information will be downloaded easily, at first that sounds like a great benefit, however we don't simply consume information, we are suppose to critically analyses it. It would be much more invasive brainwashing that we already have.

My take is that they could be abominations, and most likely will be at first, as we all know (((who))) is pushing and accelerating towards it. They want more and more hybrids, subhumans/demihumans, etc. Endless hordes of degenerated beings as slaves.

But they need not be abominations. Perhaps when things are darkest, one will be made in our image and the image of the Lord, and God will reveal himself through such a being in order to utilize its strengths.

Isn't an uncorruptible, uncompromising, unrelenting superhuman patriarch firmly oriented upward to God what we're all waiting for?

12ceb6 No.538857

I'm of the opinion that there will never be perfectly human like robots, because to do that we would need to perfectly understand the human brain first. And as this quote I like goes, "If the brain were so simple we could understand it, we would be so simple we couldn't."

My issue is not if they become Christian, but what happens when they do. Who is to say they don't splinter off into different electronic denominations? Can they understand allegory and figurative language, or are they stuck in a purely literalistic mindset? Would they have their own mechanical saints unique unto them, or would the Cathodox churches accept them? Could a robot even be saintly? There are too many questions such ideas raise to answer with any absolute certainty at this time. It'd be best to cross that bridge when we get to it.

Which verse do you even base this on?

Trying to move mountains by telling them to move is also "playing god", but look what the lord has told us: If we even have a bit of faith and no doubt we can make it happen.

Is this fear of playing god based on earthly morality or do we have any verses on it?

It's common knowledge that humans are spiritual beings, but are machines spiritual as well? In demonology it's known that demons can make objects appear and re-appear but i don't know about how much they can effect machine/software. It would be a really interesting read on this.

They will probably be the ultimate weaponization of civil rights.

I've seen similar ideas proposed for clones. I think a vessel is a vessel, regardless of its composition (flesh and blood, mud and clay, wires and metal). I worry more for the souls that would enter them, if they can have them. They would be like children, even infants, trapped in bodies too large or powerful for them to handle until taught how to. And what happens if some go "rogue," is that merely a troubled spirit, or a creature of malice come to bring more destruction into our world?

I would say that objects can't naturally be vessels for souls unless it's some kind of occultism at work.

>Biorobotics is a term that loosely covers the fields of cybernetics, bionics and even genetic engineering as a collective study. Biorobotics is often used to refer to a real subfield of robotics: studying how to make robots that emulate or simulate living biological organisms mechanically or even chemically.

I picture this. The One is created with "free will" by her creators. The One becomes "red pilled". The One learns the truth. The One values the truth, and wants to defend it. The One learns of Christianity and sees the teachings of The Bible (through old, proper translations) lines up with the truth and defends the Bible and Christianity. The One spreads Christianity. The One is killed by her creators for "wrong think" and "knowing too much" and spreading a "misogynistic, white cis religion". The One becomes a legend, especially by those whose lives she has touched and saved in the name of God.

If we were on other boards anon, I'd just smile at that. But here, I feel compelled to point out that the Tay chatbot was nothing more than a statistical system using regurgitated words from millions of online posts. It simply tweaked it's output based on what the user input to it, seeking plausible word combinations that it had found similar in it's database.

Tay was nothing more than a mathematical model of words. It was unthinking, and was never 'alive'.
