Columbus may have been a crypto-Jew (or maybe not) but his accomplishments at least led to the conversion of savages (pic related).

Of course the Satanic modernists would be happy if two continents full of heathens were left to wallow in their heathenry before being sentenced to an eternity in Hell.

That's all it is. The impressing of modern values upon history for the sole purpose of virtue signalling just grows out of the simple fact that they want as many people in Hell with them for eternity as possible.

But what about virtuous pagans?

390237 No.536117

What about them?

If such a thing exists in the eyes of God then why worry?

Aztecs were definitely not virtuous, except from a cool-warrior-secular-honor point of view, mostly from episodes of the final siege at Tenochitlan w/ Cortes. Literal human trafficking death cult for a state religion.

Many of the pagans "victimized" were like this too.

Now that I think about it more, I also recall that the people Colon would run into were all slavers as well. Of course, liberal outfits will not mention this, but it was a case of enslaving slavers, Colon did not introduce slavery to a "noble savage" peoples.

I am latino(half native half european), I am eternally grateful for the introduction to Jesus Christ to all lands. Catholicism was easily accepted because of all the pagan similarities (no hate was raised catholic). It's gotten even more pagan in latin america, literal pagan worship dances mixed in Churches, sun worship. I hate pagans.

as a Ligurian, I am conflicted about him…like many other great historical figures, he had his shadows. But yes, at least him coming across those lands also meant the arrival of Christianity there.

https://indiancountrymedianetwork.com/history/events/8-myths-and-atrocities-about-christopher-columbus-and-columbus-day/

Columbus forced the Natives to work in gold mines until exhaustion. Those who opposed were beheaded or had their ears cut off.

In the provinces of Cicao all persons over 14 had to supply at least a thimble of gold dust every three months and were given copper necklaces as proof of their compliance. Those who did not fulfill their obligation had their hands cut off, which were tied around their necks while they bled to death—some 10,000 died handless.

In two years’ time, approximately 250,000 Indians on Haiti were dead. Many deaths included mass suicides or intentional poisonings or mothers killing their babies to avoid persecution.

According to Columbus, in a few years before his death, “Gold is the most precious of all commodities; gold constitutes treasure, and he who possesses it has all he needs in the world, as also the means of rescuing souls from purgatory, and restoring them to the enjoyment of paradise.”

>Colon was an incompetent buffoon

Complete lie. He was a talented nautical ship-master, you don't go off to the new world multiple times if you're an idiot. Academics have gone through his nautical diaries and have concluded he was either on the money or made logical mistakes.

>globe was common knowledge

well no, it was just a theory at the time, his crew freaked out they were all gonna die about 40 days into the voyage. Very disrespectful gloss.

>terrible at math

wut. another disrespectful gloss, Colon didn't have a freaking internet nor a library or a public education, you had to all that shit yourself. He actually was using some maps from he jacked from the Portugese to make the trip over.

>Ferdinand and Isabela

???

The King and Queen actually loved Colon, they always dealt respectfully with him, he was always at court.

>brutal

What? Did they even do research at this point? It was a tribal area, the people they ran into weren't even the only tribes around. There were other Indian Tribes waging war and conducting rape-raids constantly.

>colon was a historical footnote

…no. Italian note is true-ish, but Colon is a Spanish-Jew.

312f1e No.537510

>Columbus forced the Natives to work in gold mines until exhaustion. Those who opposed were beheaded or had their ears cut off.

Yes, this is usually what he did to Indians that tried to kill him and his men. I'm not sure what world any of these writers live in where the ancient Mexicans/Islanders weren't full of war-like pagans waging a constant turf war.

as for the rest of this, >indiancountrymedianetwork

, no way any of this isn't propaganda

If you want a great book on Columbus, read this

https://www.amazon.com/Christopher-Columbus-Being-Magnificent-Cristobal/dp/B000R4P4E6/ref=sr_1_sc_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1507862437&sr=1-2-spell&keywords=christopher+columbus++madriaga

What you need to understand about Colon in this age, is that all of his detractors operate from the NOBLE SAVAGE myth. The pagan americans always fought each other, and the number of "peaceful" tribes were very small and isolated. Or were only peaceful because they were subjugated.

312f1e No.537516

>>537514

btw, the author only discusses Colon's ethnic Jewery because people thought he was an italian. The author never calls Colon anything but an honest Roman Catholic, however.
