Yes! In addition, I also used a Catholic Youth Bible while in high school (provides historical info throughout, historical context, more in-depth explanations, etc). You'll really enjoy this.

Definitely! I'm 20 and I still use it every day, it's definitely my favourite Bible. It's so helpful, trust me.

I purchased this a few weeks ago. I was reading the book of Sirach and stumbled across a footnote that said the prophet was "Patriarchal" for saying women should be good pious people. The author of the footnote quite literally said God was wrong and "patriarchal".

The commentary in some of the books is good, but the ones in the wisdom books are heresy, as they're all penned by a "feminist" professor at a Catholic university.

I recently found this on my shelf. Not sure if it's my siblings or mine. It mentions it was written by both Catholics and Protestants in accordance with v2. Kind of worries me.
