The hate speech law needs to be repealed ASAP. Too bullshit, and open to even further abuse. Another pipe dream is to have the weapon laws loosened to a reasonable degree. Still require the same checks and courses to own a gun, but maybe make it so the guns you're allowed to own once you pass all those checks isn't severely crippled. Get rid of retarded bans like nun-chucks and random types of knives for no real reason. Those are my short-list of things that need to be fixed (and can easily be fixed, obviously there are bigger problems but those aren't so easy to solve).
