I hear ya.
I live in the Maidstone area, my old school is now a Serbian Center.
I was always taught sweet words and thoughts about "fairness", "kindness", and "the right thing to do". All the while, whenever I questioned these things I was beaten with the Racism label in an angry tone by my teachers.
It was clear what my teachers were there for.
I started realizing it when Vimy Ridge was peddled off as an "anyone could have done it, Canada was just handed it" task.
The teachers teaching the new generations are trying to teach them exactly what Trudeau said, "Canada has No Culture".
The truth is, I believe that they fear the thought of Canadians learning about Canadian War Heroes, Military Accomplishments, and most of all, Culture.
Cause they fear a Canada that will rise from the state it is in now, into an unwavering superpower.
Learn as much as you can that will instill National Pride in even the most common of souls about Canada.
Or else they will succeed in the goals they've set for Canada for a long time. A forgotten Pride.
